For this page you will see numerous examples of work and content that i have worked on during my time at university and college where i worked on varying projects that showcases and highlights my skills such as video editor, Photographer and experience and insight with working for marketing companies
1. Final Major Project.
(Fall From Grace Short Film)
For my Final Major Project My final Module at University myself and 3 people from my course set out to complete, develop and create a project of our own choice The final decision was to create a Short Film of our own doing which involved a lot of documentation of Production sheets such as Call Sheet, Location Reece and contributor sheets and, development of the project and sharing updates and staying in regular contact with my group. The Main Story concerned a group of 4 friends go to spend the night at a House only to realise that sinister events are about to happen and will affect them one way or another. My main role on this project was undertaking research via Primary and Secondary and Camera Operating where I took instructions from The director of the project. This was great final project that me and my group took part as it showcased our strengths in specific areas we worked on and ability to work under tight deadlines and highlighting our organizational and communication skills as well as being proficient in Team Work and being successful in managing our time.
1. Live Production- Showreel
For one of my university modules i had to create a 3 minute showreel to the best of my abilities and combine 4 projects that i was interested in such as photography, staging an Interview and podcast, this module showcased my capabilities to work within a group and individually whist backing up my work with research both primary and secondary.
For my Photojournalism Module I have photographed the 2023 London Marathon as part of my assignment my main goal was to document and go to London and to capture the Marathon as best i can and look for spots to photograph and upload to our Moodle page for my lectuer to reveiw and assess. I conducted this project by researching the date and the charity and organisation i would be taking photos for Known as the Charity called Bliss- a UK Based charity for premature infants that would go on their website and platform as well as looking at the camera equipment needed and required to catch certain shots

Powell and Barnes Media Presentation
For one of my work placement modules I carried out a video documenting and outlining my time at Powell and Barnes by looking at the objectives I did such as Promoting, client consultation, arranging interviews with entrepreneurs, this showcased a variety of task and objectives during my time at Powell and Barnes Media

Mental Health and Well Being Community events Forum
For one of my live production Projects, i went to Tottenham Hotspur stadium and worked with a NHS Communications team to photograph and document a mental health and well community event that would eventually go onto their page. In preparation i researched what the event was for being community event talking about how people talked about their mental health and personal stories and how it affected them and they overcame adversity. Along with the marathon project this helped me to gain more experience around photography work and helping varying companies to post and add on their website and help to document other communities work around mental health and well being

IT CROWD Podcast
For one of my live production projects in my 3rd year at university i created a podcast with 2 friends of mine to put into my showreel showcasing my ability to use the radio studios in Birmingham City University Parkside confidently and in regards to setting it up. There we discussed a controversial episode of a hit tv show known as the IT CROWD to find out if the criticism is justified.
06 Convergent Journalism
For my 2nd and Final Year as a higher national diploma student One of my modules was to carry out a convergent journalism project of my choice and tackle a subject that interests me the most, the challenge I conducted was looking into Students adjusting going back into University lectures of the back of the COVID 19 Pandemic as this asked a student regarding the effect of the pandemic it has had on University Students.
This project highlighted my interactive and interpersonal skills in inviting a student to take the time to talk about her experiences and the effects of COVID on Higher Education.
07 Moving Image Location Interview
For one of my first University Projects I have done was I interviewed a marathon runner who has ran through many ultras and marathons and I interviewed him regarding the techniques and the equipment on how to survive such blistering climates in the Marathon De Sables and the tools and kit you need in order to be mentally and physically and psychologically prepared for such a challenging experience
08 TV Advert Project
In my 2nd Year at University and final year as Higher National Diploma Student, one of my main projects was to design a TV Advert that was aimed directly towards that chosen audience and hope with in the advert was to tell a story and distribute a product and brand towards the audience I have chosen for my assignment. This highlighted the knowledge, techniques and simplicity and also highlights the effort and simple but effective storytelling to engage customers and convince them to buy the product
09 Journalism
As part of my 1st part of 2 year higher national diploma course at James Watt Metropolitan College, my main task was to design and create our own local and international news articles that reported the recent news at the time. This module highlighted my skills and abilities to use google surveys forum, drawing techniques and adobe platforms such as Photoshop to develop my own take on news reporting.

10. Studios Production
For my first year at University (Year 1 of Higher National Diploma in Media and Communications), i developed and created my own studio production piece which involved a student in the same class as me to carry out a topic that I was interested in that being a daily sports exercise video involving press ups and sit ups as examples. This highlighted my capabilities in working, organising, and directing people around me to make sure the cameras were placed in the right spot to achieve a certain, regular shot that I wanted to get. This also gives me an insight in how studio production varies from traditional video production and gives me a good understanding of the codes and conventions of studio panel work and controlling and deciding to switch and cut between different cameras as well as arranging them.
11. Video Essay on Contextual Studies
For my first year at Birmingham City University, one of my main modules from my first Semester was providing a film/video essay on the famous opening battle on D-Day, the 6th June 1944, which was depicted with a huge amount of realism, grit and the hard hitting nature of war. I outlined using research and other inspiring content the use of documentary style techniques that Filmmaker Steven Spielberg used to present a deadly battle between the Allies and Axis Forces. This showcased my ability to analyse and research into great films and why it still has an impact on audiences alike.
12. My Holiday to Ireland
After my University Studies have concluded, i went on holiday to Ireland during the time i took the time to photograph and record most of the sights in the city of Cork, Galway and Dublin. This showcased my ability to document and process and edit together footage from my holiday in my spare time via Premiere Pro.
13. My visit to Holland 2024
In the later part of 2024, i went on a short holiday to Holland and visited both Rotterdam, the Hague and Amsterdam where i ended up exploring different aspects of Dutch culture, Like with the holiday to Ireland, this showcased my capabilities to edit and put together a video outlining and documenting my journey from the 4th August til the 8th August 2024.
14. Gresham College Video Exercise
For one of my recent exercise videos I created a short video explaining who and what Gresham College and outlined the type of subjects and curriculum they teach, subjects include Music, Culture, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Maths, Neuroscience, History and Psychology. The purpose of this exercise is to convince more people to click on to a link that addresses Climate Change and provides an interesting overview by Miles Allen (one of the professors) on the shifts in climate community and response to Greenhouse Gases.
15. Music Rehearsal Photography
For one of my live production/showreel projects I took the opportunity to photograph a band in rehearsal and practice at Birmingham City University in my 3rd year, the purpose and goal of this project is to showcase the skill and talent i have in photography and building a nice consistent framework and mis en scene and showcase how the band communicate and rehearse together on a daily basis.
16. Interview with Senior HR Professional
Continuing on with my Course work in my final semester at Birmingham City University, as part of my module Professional Academic Development where as part of my assignment i had to write a 3,000 word essay talking about my own chosen topic talking about How Traditional Marketing has evolved into Digital Marketing as well as gathering important research that included both Primary and Secondary and my own perspective on this topic. I interviewed a senior HR Professional talking about the evolution that Marketing has taken as well as talk about her career in HR and Management and how she saw marketing change from Traditional into Digital. This video highlighted the opportunity to speak to a professional and arrange a specific time and date to talk to her as well as time management and organisational skills and ability to integrate this topic into my essay as part of my course work.
17. Chasing Glory (TV Narratives Group Project)
As part of my University Module, I was tasked to create a documentary on any topic that we were greatly interested in. I was in a group of 4 where we took different responsibilities going into the project, I undertook research both Primary and Secondary and Camera Operating where I took advice and tips from the director of the project in ensuring we got the best possible and necessary shots as well as making it look visually appealing and followed many documentary techniques such as interviews and montage shots. This was a great group project I have worked on as it gave me and the people working on it experience on Time Management, Organisation, Interactive and interpersonal skills with guests and choosing a relevant location and date for all parties involved.
18.The Day in Life of a jewellery shop
As part of my skills and development in Videography and video editing I took the time to help at my local ideas hub in Chelmsford to help increase awareness around the Jewellery Shop in the ideas hub. This showcased my video editing skills and and cut between shots highlighting a sense of variety in showing the bracelets and jewellery and craft being made thus making a connection in People's lives. This also showcased my communication and organizational skills in being interactive and approachable and helping to market and advertise a aspect of the local ideas hub by emailing this video to their communications email.
19. The Arts Hub
During my 2nd week at the local arts hub, I have set out to highlight the type of art work, items, jewellery, and products on display at the ideas, the purpose of this video is outline and showcase not only the editing skills but also highlight and look to advertise the items and products and visually show how the Art Place has grown and how much it is willing to reach out to local communities and help local people in practice and give them a sense of welcome and inclusivity in the area.
20. Beads at The Arts Hub
During my 3rd week volunteering for the Chelmsford Art Place I have taken the time to show one of the most visually pleasing products on display at the Art Place. This showcased my capabilities to creating a variety of good montage shots and build a connection with the chosen demographic at the Chelmsford Ideas and highlight the craftmanship and dedication of the people who made Beads one of the most visually appealing designs at the Art Place in Chelmsford.
Short Form Video on Christmas at the Art Place
Providing more engaging and meaningful content for the Arts Hub In Chelmsford gave me the opportunity to shoot and film a short form video which gave me the skills to show a great list and variety of products on display during the Christmas holidays.

Continuing on from my media projects comes my branding and print projects this is all of the work i have highlighted and documented as one of my best and outlines my skills and abilities on adobe platforms such as adobe InDesign, illustrator, Photoshop and canva where i designed my own brands such as app design, magazines and packaging design and infographics and brochures
App Design
As part of my branding and print media course using a combination of photoshop and illustrator and UI and XD me and my course designed our own app and platform and developed and created a new angle and being sports themed app. Doing this we created artboards and alignments and Photoshop and documented a step by step process. I appealed it towards a demographic and audience that love a variety of sports ranging from Football to Formula One and Rugby
Magazine Design
(FMP COLLEGE DESIGN)
For my Final Major Project in Chelmsford College I developed a magazine article based on the films of the 1960s from the beginning of the decade to the end of the decade by documenting the most famous, iconic films of that decade such as Hitchcock’s Psycho to Sean Connery’s James Bond, the rise of Kubrick, the new wave of the late 60s going onto the early 70s.
During this project i researched the typography and colour, i planned to structure the pages and creating a maximum of 16 pages to match my original goal and creating an informative and entertaining magazine for my chosen target audience.
Fanta Packaging Design
In Both my 2nd and final year as a branding and print media student i had the task of designing and creating my own brand packaging, i have done this by designing and combining a fruit of my choice and mixing it with Fanta to create my own angle of the famous fizzy drink.
Food Packaging Design
In my final year at college I have done a different packaging project by creating my own crisp brand and looking at drawing and developing a new crisp flavour as part of our packaging design.

As part of my 300 hour work experience i have worked with local ideas hub in Chelmsford i created developed key and several brochures and posters for the Arts and well being community

As of now i am currently in the process of marketing and finding local media and businesses to highlight and increase awareness of the work and successes that the charity has done since 2003.
Book Cover and Typography
My first project in my final year at college was creating our own typeography along with developing our own book cover we used adobe software programs such as Illustrator and Photoshop.

Branding Magazine Article
In my 3rd year at college i designed my own brand which was titled Sports Advisor appealing towards a sports centric group and I used many colour theories to create my own brand and developed it through drawing and sketching and experimenting with Logo Designs and Typography to suit the sports themed tone I was going for.
